I had been sleeping on the floor as usual. Nothing special had happened the night before; I just opened my eyes. But I was seeing without concepts, without thoughts or an internal story. There was no me. It was as if something else had woken up. It opened its eyes. It was looking through Katie's eyes. And it was crisp, it was clear, it was new, it had never been here before. Everything was unrecognizable. And it was so delighted! Laughter welled up from the depths and just poured out. It breathed and was ecstasy. It was intoxicated with joy: totally greedy for everything. There was nothing separate, nothing unacceptable to it. Everything was its very own self. There just isn't another way to say how completely new and fresh the awareness was. There was no I observing the " it. " There was nothing but the " it. BTW, I've had the Wolinsky DVD for a while and I've only seen the very first bit of the introduction, but after I check out Curly vs. Shemp today at Blockbusters, I am going to watch the whole Niz. DVD. If it's anything like 'Awaken to the Eternal' on VHS, it HAS to be GREAT!!!! I hope my sense of 'me' or 'I' falls away, leaving only Sat,Chit, & Ananda, but we'll see. I promised those who were interested a report on the DVD so that they might have an indication if it is worth the $29.95 to buy it. But YOU, Charlie, are (I'm totally serious, believe me) much more qualified than I am to give a review. I know seeing the DVD had a very dramatic (to say the least) effect, if that's the right word, on you. I for one, would like to hear about your experience, a la the way Katie has described hers. I think it will be most illumining. Mr. nojokE
