>>>They also see countless other 'me's

ready and willing to tear this little

'me' apart how can they Give it Up ?

>>>>...how can I let it die ?

>>>If NOT me, who else will defend it ?

Letting it die may not only feel

unwise and foolish but, it might also

feel ... irresponsible, unkind and

inhuman!

.....

>>...it feels so uncompassionate !

..

....

......

And, of course they are RIGHT !

If they don't take care of that 'me'

no one else will !

It is already HARD enough when they

try so much, when they work endlessly

trying to take of that 'me' . Nobody

else seems to care. Worse, most other

in fact seem to be interested in

belittling it.

Yes, it is correct that if you don't

take care of that 'me' No one else will.

And, yes, ...you are RIGHT !

That's why you see many, many people

including Tolle, Ramana, Katie who

became 'liberated', 'free' didn't

become so out of LOVE for themselves

out of great compassion for themselves

....

But, the pain of maintaining this 'me'

became so unbearable, so hard, so

intolerable that they got totally

frustrated, disgusted of it.

Now, they were totally tired of it,

....and, utterly disillusioned. Now,

they were no longer interested in it

and had no sympathy or compassion left

for 'me' ( or anybody else, as 'me' is

the root and base of everybody and

everything ) .

In fact, many of them were FULLY

willing to die ...

some were at verge of committing

suicide.

..

....

.....

and, that is when they saw one that

lives unconditionally !

That is when, they saw the freedom !~
