Guest guest
>>Yes, it is correct that if you don't take care of that 'me' No one else will. >>And, yes, ...you are RIGHT ! >>That's why you see many, many people including Tolle, Ramana, Katie who became 'liberated', 'free' did NOT become so out of LOVE for themselves, out of great compassion for themselves .... .. .... ...... And, therefore, it is also NOT a surprise that even after hearing so many sermons, being to so many satsang, reading so many books on " killing the 'me' " , ...the 'me' still keeps living. In fact, in many cases, even flourishes and becomes bigger and greater as in ... 'holy me', 'spiritual me', 'knowledgeable me' or even ....'realized me' or what is an OXYMORON ....'free me', 'liberated me'. In spite of what they might say or are 'forced to say, ...most people really look for a 'better me' and not the ....'end of me'. Yet, better or worse only apply to the 'image' an not to the reality beyond thinking. ....and, more COMPLEX the image of me, more effort it requires to maintain.
