I'm totally and completely anti-guru, hip thing or not.

I never got into UG, but I was having panic attacks during the time I

was trying to read him and what he had to say didn't go over to well

at the time.

I think I wuz still looking for someone to bail me out of my

existential dilemma, but UG just let me dangle in the frigid breeze

of human up-tightness, so I bagged it with him real quick.

Maybe I'll give it another shot, but right now, like you, I'm just

hanging out, doing a little telemarketing, preaching a little Gospel,

and having fun in general.

I'm not kidding when I tell people you really hipped me to the being-

awareness thing, cause you really did, eventhough of course it was

right there (OK, right " here, " you nondual fanatics, you) all the

time.

I don't care even if you're only a 5th. or 6th. stager (I think the

7th. stage is reserved exclusively for the Promised God-Man Da

Avabhasa Ruchira Avatar The Bright Free John or whatever his latest

divine appelation is) or whatever, you still da Anti-Man!

I didn't mean that you should really read U.G. But, I was talking

about quotes here and there on the Net. He gets off some good ones,

sometimes. There's a website that has nothing but his quotes. He's got

his own spin on this non dual game. And, he's quite a character. A

real dharma bum.

I can't read anything anymore. I start reading something and I'm like

" what the heck am I reading this for? "

That 'being-awareness' is for real. Don't listen to them neo-Advaita

people. They're just jealous. They're all hung up on neti-neti. In the

self is where it's at. Ramana and Nisargadatta pointed to it. So did

the old Zen dudes. All you can do is point. Don't mistake the pointing

finger for the moon. And, so on.

You exist. This you know. You know this because you are aware. And,

that's it. There aint nothing else. Be that (you can't help but be

that). You are that. Abide as such. Twas ever thus.

And so on and so forth.

Yada yada yada.

Always,

fuzzie

Nope.

The " I am " is also transcended.....leaving nothing in its wake.

Don't mistake the finger for the moon, toombaru. " I am " is the finger;

" the moon " is that whereof nothing can be said.
