sam: and then you go on to say there is no man, no one to speak. No

It through which or by any it or man can operate through. But now

there is some kind of a language that this man whom you say doesn't

speak speaks. Your messages are starting to sound very sick and

confused. Maybe it would be just be a more sane idea to pick one

theory and run with it. One sentence contradicts another until I can

no longer make an ounce of sense out of anything your writing.

Sam,

I don't care if what comes through me " makes sense.

The very foundation of all words is lunacy.......the naming of " things " is the

mother of confusion.

Thought is the only tool availale ......and it is simply not up to the task.

It will never figure itself out.

A thought cannot think about another thought....a thought about a thought is a

new thought....and a thought about that thought is just another......

And on and on the thought stream flows....always separated from what is........

by time.........

Thoughts attemping to capture reality......wrapping themselves in a meat

body.......and claiming to be the All........

Judi is right......It is pathetic.

Toom,

Maybe all you say above is true,

and then again, might it be possible that

you are expressing your own internal desire

for self-condemnation and self-distrust?

Then, also finding this expression externally

( " it's pathetic " )

and using it for validation of your

own desire.

Hear Niz:

All you need is already within you,

only you must approach your self

with reverence and love. Self-condemnation

and self-distrust are grievous errors.

Your constant flight from pain and

search for pleasure is a sign of love you

bear for your self; all I plead with you

is this: make love of your self perfect.

Deny yourself nothing - give yourself

infinity and eternity and discover that

you do not need them; you are beyond. "

In the words of Buzz Lightyear,

" To infinity and beyond! "

** Never mind Niz, the issue is what's your understanding,

what's mine? You know....the living. ;)

Is there an *actual* separable self-- to either love or

condemn?

And if not, isn't the attempt to establish/maintain

one....pathetic? (arousing compassion...from the Greek

pathos...or suffering)

Hi kenja,

It's about this:

There are three possibilities,

either you see the forest

for the trees or you don't see the forest for

the trees, or, you don't care, because

there isn't a question about it any more.

This is not to suggest any kind of

escapism, on the contrary, rather a full

engagement with Life, as it is.

Pain is inevitable and has to be dealt

with...

suffering is still also life

expressing as it will, but doesn't suffering

have the potential to thwart

a full engagement with life?

I think it does.

No separable self to do anything " to " ,

just series of events that are either

identified with as this is me, or not identified

with and that may

or may not

serve as those infamous 'thorns'

until none of it is any longer an issue

Well, the attempt to establish/maintain one

is just a means of seeing that it is the opposite

of the non-attempt to establish/maintain one.

Of course, if one gets stuck in the obsessive-

compulsiveness of either, then, yes, it may

arouse compassion.
