The 'ego' does not choose anything.

It emerges concurrently with the concept 'choice'.

'Choice' is merely one thought......one desire......dominating another.

The results of 'choice' of the Universe choosing a process called " Toombaru "

is what makes " Toombaru " Who " Toombaru Is right Here and Now.

It is a choiceless choice.

Using the apperception that you have no choice to excuse your undesirable

behavior....still

assumes a distinct psychological center....in which responsibility is now

denied.

sam: o.k., now toombaru you're confusin' me again.

You're talking to yourself here right?

You've often upheld the theory that you have no choice as your first

statement implies.

Now your second reply to your first statement sounds like your

saying no choice assumes a distinct center in which responsiblity is

denied.

It's really this kind of circular thinking that could (and does)

play endlessly back and forth in a whirlwind of nonsense.

Who cares?

As my dear dad used to say, either crap or get off the pot. In

other words, either your into it and you get on with whatever it is

your about, or you get off the pot and flush already.

Ok...I'll try to choose between those two............but maybe you could come

with a third

possibility.

sam: hey, knock yourself out. I'm full out of creative ideas here.

Actually, boredom has set in and I don't much give a flying rats

rump anymore. Well, just when I think I do I decide I'm too damn

lazy to care. That might be a job for Anna or Harsha. Their young

vivaciousness is full of zest and zeal -- just the ticket for such

creative possiblities.

A laxative of choice perhaps. Castor oil, Metamucil, more fiber, apple a

day, oatmeal?

Harsha didn't make you smile.

What occured was a nervous reaction to a clever and unpredicted use of concepts.

The term " laxative of choice " took the stream of the conversation into a

different

arena......and temporarily confused the normal flow of the thought patterns in

that brain

you call yours.

The so called smile was merely a nervous reaction....a confusion that stimulated

a small

amount of fear.........just enough fear to stimulate your self-protective

biological response

system to curl your upper lip in a manner that would show any onlookers the

rather large

size of those famous canines.

Yes, I did. I bring smiles all around. This is well documented in

scientific studies.

Maybe that's what is occurring in you right now! :-).

Smile if you can

Run a mile if you can

And if you can't, just plop

on the sofa and as you sit

think of the days when you were not fat

but rather fit.

sam: I think you're seriously overanalyzing and reading way more

into thereby making something of of no thing. It wasn't nervous

laughter. It was surprised laughter because I didn't realize Harsha

had that kind of witty sense of humor and I do enjoy a good laugh.

I'm not sure what you think I was afraid about. But this is better

than a psychic hotline. His choice of a 3rd possiblity was truly

funny to me, and made everybit as much sense as any other possiblity

that could be submitted. I also smile at the term " either shit or

get off the pot " , as I think it's a fun play on words.

Do you have humor toombaru? Do you ever laugh or do you prefer to

take things very seriously.

By my famous canines are you refering to my questions? I question

things that don't make sense to me and comment them - I notice you

do it too - and if your using canines as an analogy to humanity then

that would be one reason why humans have canines. (metaphorically)

If they didn't then they wouldn't exist and I wouldn't have a body

to be typing with now would I. To have a body and type you have to

lock into some aspect of the ego/dualistic concept otherwise the

body would disappear. If you're trying to identify ego then,

bullseye, because everyone's got one of those, and it's how you keep

your phsyical body. If you didn't you wouldn't have enough belief

in it to even materialize one. if that's not what you're talking

about then you'll have to explain further otherwise I have no idea

what your talking about.

sam: why do you suppose you inhabit a body? It is to get a sense

of understanding the human realm (irregardless of it being

illusory). You don't like to admit it but you do understand many

things about this human world and that's exactly what your doing

here. Which is no surprise since you are here. You get overly

caught up in the I'm-not-real-therefore-I'm-not-here thing which is

what catches you up. Consciousness doesn't care if it's not real.

It knows it's not real/You know You're not real. It's just

exploring this little thing called humanity and it's understanding a

lot about it. You watch a movie, you don't care if it's real. You

know it's not real, but you still watch and explore it. That's

what consciousness IS/DOES. There is no separate I-ness there is

only *I*. Your words refuse that *I* by saying it can't come

through you, which flings you back into dualism and then you post

endlessly about the illusory nature of dualism saying it's not

real. Toombaru, that's just one step away from crazy, and it

continues to pedal the concept of crazy by focusing on the non-

dualistic nature. It's NOT real. Get over it. Whether you focus

on non-dualistic illusory (in which case you do) or you focus on the

ONEness concept, (which many do) it's all the same .........it's

still all focusing on dualism.

sam: harsha, toombaru is having his dualistic monkey mind buttons

pushed by something that has been brought up on this board and his

clever little monkey mind is peddling like crazy so it doesn't die

out -- swimming like a duck under water furiously to stay afloat.

Such is the way with those who don't accept that their IT. They

fight it tooth and nail, hence the dualistic banter to keep the

concept alive and well within their brain.

All " focusing " occurs within dualism.

Thinking you are " IT " is merely egoic grandiosity.

Thinking you are some-thing......and then thinking that this something is

every-thing.....is thought gone amuk.

sam: yes it's an illusion. Yes your body isn't real. I know

that.

and yet you keep on typing. You do this because___________.

What I'm saying, is.........who cares?????

Same as what Werner was saying..... who cares????

Have a cigarette and a drink......

you don't get that because you're so caught up in overly focusing on

caring about the body that is illusory.

You always respond to questions by saying,

Who's on first...or there is no who, or something to that effect,

but that has nothing to do with the price of rice in china. You

don't get it toombaru..... there is NO thing to figure out.

Yet you struggle bashing your head in saying things don't exist.

Yes it doesn't exist.

Yes you are not separate.

You're focused on the stuck record of " there's no body and no one in

the body. "

Yes, and still......you......type.........

Come with Werner and I. There's a lovely bar down at strawberry

canyon and occasionally we like to imbibe in a little drink and a

few laughs, shoot the bull about NoThing in particular.....who

cares? Not us! Here we are and we're just being whatever the

heck that is until it stops. No need to fight it. No need to seek

after some kind of love. It's in your fighting young grasshopper

(for or against) that your confusion and sorrow lies. You and Judi

are no different than the seekers after enlightenment becuz you make

about as much sense albeit peddling your wares from the opposite

side of the street -- peddling enlightenment through non-

enlightenment is the same kind of thing.

Now I'll shut back up and curl my upper lip in so my lovely famous

canines don't show. I do love the whole dracula thing though.....

luv dracula movies....something very sensuous about the enigmatic

canines piercing the throat no? They chase you in your dreams and

there is no where to go....they hold you spellbound with their dark

beauty and you run but you can't hide. Don't be afraid of my

canines Toombaru.

sam: there is void, and there is a consciousness. It's not

rocket science but you want to overly complicate it all. There is

consciousness and your typing is proof of that. (again, the nature

of the body, whether it is illusory or not is irrelevent to the

issue of consciousness.)

This consciousness that inhabits your body is EveryThing/NoThing. It

doesn't care if everything is illusory. It doesn't care if it is

actually NoThing. Consciousness is just aware of stuff. It makes

stuff to be aware of. you are proof. Thinking you are Not

Something and debating whether that something is illusory is thought

gone amuk. But consciousness doesn't care. It's just conscious of

all the stuff whether it's illusory or not - whether it's run amok

or not, whether it's crazy in a straight jacket or not. You are

something and you are nothing. This something is EveryThing and yet

it is NoThing. It is not one or the other. You call it thought gone

amok and this is what lends to your separate sense. You have divided

it into one thing or the other (dual)

Consciousness is everything and at the same time nothing. It is the

body your type in (whether or not you admit your typing) and

regardless of whether or not the body typing is illusory. The body

is nothing and yet it is something. When you stop dividing your

thoughts into this and that, identifying this as a non-dual thing

and that as a dual thing, ex: the ocean/wave debate, the " you aren't

it " debate, the " there is no it " debate, the " who's on third "

debate, (which is all your clever masked way of asking......what?

why? how?......then there is nothing to fight against. You stop

fighting against consciousness and you *realize* you -are-

consciousness right here and now.....and.....that is enough.
