Guest guest
sam: by now toombaru perhaps you can see how predictable your protective mechanisms are kicking in. I should respond to you here by using your own words, " Have you ever noticed that whenever a monkey finds its self cornered...it will pull out a diversion from its memory banks. It's a very clever little monkey. " wait for it..... here it is...... > > If you prefer the company of others who agree with your personal delusion......perhaps you should give Harsha's list a try. > > They really are a bunch of sweet folks. > > If you like things a bit sticky.........that is. > > toombaru sam: The difference between you and me is that I know I'm in an illusory world. I crossed that bridge a long time ago. That's when the delusion ends. This world is a belief system that's set up and it's the one I wash, sleep and brush my teeth in. I don't try to make it something it's not. You try to make it something it's not while living in it, while focusing on the fact that it is really not existant (illusory) and this is where crazy starts. Yes, it's an illusion and you are still here. Your focus on the non- separateness/no thing, chunks you right back into your fight against separateness. Others are doing it from the opposite spectrum by saying that it is illusory so they have to fight to get out of it through enlightening themselves to overcome it. And it's an endless insatiable fight becuz both camps/spectrums/approaches are now in a separated mentality while your doing it. You can fight it all you want but that isn't going to make it go away or change anything. By saying that it's not real doesn't change it one bit and that's the prison your in. It's a constant fight your doing toombaru, aren't you exhausted yet? And you fight against others who say anthing at all, continually showing those famous canines of yours " your " truth, that it's illusory. It's only by accepting it that there becomes nothing to accept and nothing to figure out/understand. Then the fights over and you can get on with something else rather than fighting. You are doing it bass ackwards which sets you up to protect the very thing your fighting against. If it doesn't exist then there's nothing to say. You remind me of the little boy cowering under the blankets saying, " there is no monster, there is no monster, there is no monster. " It really doesn't matter that you're fighting, it's all part of the dualist deal. It's just crazy making when you fight against something in the manner in which you do. If you don't then stop. You think you can't stop but you can. Stop thinking about it. Stop typing about it. Pull the plug on it. You have difficulty doing this because you think you have no choice or power to do anything. You've given it away under the title called, " Non-dual/nobody exists " heading. A great excuse to stay in habits. It doesn't exist but who cares? You obviously do since you type about it enough. Then you say, " there is no *you* " and you carry right on. I don't really care what you do one way or the other, it's just that I hear your confusion and....well....I'm holding my hand out to a drowning man in the ocean who says there is no ocean. Sam, Last night......you believed the people in your dream were real.....They really did seem so real.......You would have told them so.....If they asked...... It was only after you awakened that they lost their " reality " . You need not offer your hand......I have had enough of dreams. toombaru

If you enjoy the dream, then keep dreaming...if you do not, then change the dream. You truly haven't had enough of dreams, for if you did you wouldn't still be dreaming them and fighting against them as you do - fighting against yourself as you do. You fight that which you are and this perpetuates your dreams as nightmares. When you stop fighting you recognize that it's all just fine. Hummmmmmm........Do you suppose that that is why the Buddha called it suffering? Sam, You are applying makeup to a corpse........ and you will continue to do that ...............until you don't. If you find that fulfilling....that is what you should be doing. toombaru
