>>Don't you think that reading just the

words that, 'everything is the

Self,' ...could make us sit back and

do nothing.

....that itself is a question, speculation,

guess, imagination of mind !

One that is 'concerned' with sitting

back doing nothing or acting this or

that way ...is mind.

The existence works Silently,

....without having to ask questions,

without needing to decide ...

The stars arise and fall,

the planets go around stars,

moons around planets ...each without

having a nation of " I am doing it " ,

.... " I have to do it "

Without thinking, " I have to bring

rain to this place " , " I have to bring

this season in this place " , " I have to

grow plants "

They just follow their nature, ...and,

things happen ...

sometimes, rivers, streams, plants and

flowers other times, ...storms, flood,

draughts, typhoons too ...

The earth quietly follows its nature ...

The embryo grow into baby and comes out ...

without 'thinking', without 'planning'

....I have to enter this family and do

this to them !

In fact, sometimes, they even arrive

to a 'non desiring' mother and 'non

welcoming' family !

It just follow its nature.

You sleep, you go in deep dreamless

sleep ...and, then, you also come out,

....dream and get up

Without having to 'plan' and 'think'

in your sleep that " I need to get up " .

A seed grows into plant,

the plant flowers, fruits, spreads it

fragrance and fruits ...

Without having to think " I have to do

this and that " ...

Leaves do photosynthesis and make food

virtually sustain entire chain of

animal life ...

....without thinking " I have to sustain

animal life " ....I have to eradicate

hunger from this world.

Cells divide, cells fight bacteria,

the body breathes, the blood circulates

....

Each just follow their own nature.

That nature is Dharma,

Unattached, un-resisted, unselfish (

not desiring something out of it, not

expecting something out of it ),

surrendered adherence to one's Dharma

is going beyond ...Karma !

That is surrendered action,

That is fulfilling the role of whole ...

Yes, you might be seen as doing great

work ...

or,

You might be seen as sitting idle,

doing nothing.

Yet, you do nothing, the body, the

entity just follows its nature, you

just remain a Witness !

" you " that 'decides' ... " what to do " ,

" what should happen " , " what should be

done " , " what should have been " ...is

Absent !

..

....

......

“you” that asks all the questions,

doubts everything, you that wants to

decide, control, predict and for

.... " what to do " , " what should happen "

is the Cause of Problem.

It is the Sinner ...

It is the Pain ..

It is the One that has eaten the fruit

of tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad !

Otherwise,

Lion eats lamb ...

Lamb eats grass ...

each follow their 'nature' ...

and, you remain unattached !
