Buddha, Krishna and even Jesus and Ramana did not see any difference between the saint and sinner because to the Self there is none – it is all just a Show, movie, maya in which the sinner is a saint one minute so that in the next he can be a criminal. If I cannot let go of my dualities then I should be going to church and praying for forgiveness, and all those dualistic things that criminals and politicians need to be saints. ============================= > > > > PS. So there are no good people any more than there are bad peoples. It's all just maya, entertainment as the Self plays hide and seek with its imaginary doers. It is all just a play of words, and their imaginary egos. Its all about dreaming and the not-dreaming, the dreamless-sleep called Samadhi. an echo: It is all really very simple -- so simple that there is no mind simple enough to understand it. the Pelota Gene =========================== > > Why make animals so frail in a planet with > so much natural disasters? Hi, Gene: Yeah, I agree. My statement was a joke to Pete about his initial question, which I paraphrased as the classic line " why do bad things happen to good people? " Hence, the quip " Oh, boy... here come the theologians... " Theologians are definitely steeped in dualistic concepts... Good and bad are relative terms. In truth, it is what it is. fuzzie
