Today physics gives us its dreams called atoms and molecules. Atoms are like the thoughts that are locked into the thought-compartment called sleep-dreams; and molecules are like the thoughts that are locked up into a " body " in the mortal-dream called life, maya. The mortal-dream called maya can have limitless numbers of dreams. Maya can have ordinary sleep-dreams and then there are those sleep- dreams that are too-real. Too-real dreams are so real that they cannot be a dream until you wake up from them and then you still cannot believe that they were a dream. After a few of these too- real dreams it is difficult to believe that life, maya, is not just a dream. In a too-real dream you can be going around and examining objects and things and telling yourself: " How can life be a dream when everything is so solid and real. " And then you wake up and laugh – because it was not only a dream but a too-real dream that makes life, maya, into a less-real dream. In a way Samadhi works like a too-real dream because it is so phenomenally REAL that it leaves absolutely no doubt that literally everything else has to be a dream, maya, fiction. Then there are lucid-dreams in which the mind thinks it is awake which is impossible. It is impossible because the mind has to be dreaming to be what it thinks is " awake. " In other words, the mind is always dreaming it is awake. And so for Ramana, the mortal-dream called maya was just a lucid dream – he was aware that his mind was always dreaming. And then you can have out-of-body dreams that go into other times and ages and other worlds and universes, like Robert Monroe wrote his books about. And then there are dreams into the so called " astral " dimensions … whatever the mind wants it will dream about. The mind calls it seeking. And then there are all those dreams about other dreams we call previous lives. And more recently we have limitless numbers of dreams we can go to a Blockbusters to get in the form of VCRs and DVDs. And then there is always the TV channels. And if we want a more-real dream we can go to the Cinema. And then we can also read a novel. And if a novel is written well it will be more real than a movie, and sometimes a novel can be even more real than the mortal-dream called life, maya. Thus the power of words. These are all just dreams inside of dreams. And when I hear about people seeking OBE dreams and astral dreams and then visions of gods, then I ask myself: why should I meditate and try to get visions of gods and things?... or why should I control my dreams into OBE dreams, or astral dreams…. when with a very simple click of a button on my remote control I can with utmost certainty choose between hundreds of different dreams that are far more real than anything I can dream or meditate about, and do it perfectly consistently. And thus the JOY of Ramana's words " be done with it " . Take life to be a dream and just take the remote-control and enjoy all the dreams that are far more vivid and " real " than anything you can dream about in your sleep. But of all these dreams nothing, I mean Nothing, comes close to the JOY of thoughtless Silence that Ramana called sphurana. this Joy YOU ARE and ALL IS gp

What we see on TV and other news channels today is utter illusion. No one and nobody can die or grow old other than as a very " solid " illusion. There may be very exciting times ahead. al.
