Today it is called canned-laughter, recorded-laughter. Back in the old days, before recordings, the producer just paid a drunk to laugh in the audience for the same results. When it is time to laugh I turn on this recorded-laughter so I can laugh with the exact same intelligence that Pavlov's dogs needed to salivate to the sound of a bell. Now that I know how laughing works, all I have to do is to turn the recorded-laughter on every time the good-old-boys, and their very free-press, tells me about some new misery, suffering and slaughter they have caused just for my pleasure. And the more I laugh the more the world has to laugh because I am this world and all its misery, pain and suffering that I need to keep laughing…. and thus don't cry in my dreams. -- thoughts, laughs, that keep coming out of the same nothing gp
