And there are no dualities: laughing and crying is but the same thing. That is the only reason we can laugh and cry at the same time. By far the most intense feelings of LOVE that I AM always comes not with laughter but tears. When I hug my kids, friends and family it is with tears of joy called LOVE. And at other times this SAME LOVE comes in the form of sharing laughter. So yes, laughter does not keep me from crying but it helps me cry, and crying helps me laugh because they are one and the same JOY of LOVE. To me there is no bigger insanity than to separate laughter and crying into a duality. And the mind is what it thinks. Here the imaginary " I " am the JOY of these words that come out of nothing, and then an imaginary " you " asks me if life is really that bad, when there is no life, nor me or you, only the dream called maya in which these words are the laughter and crying. -- and yes this " I " is just like Pavlov's dog: give me a few words and I can foam at the mouth with words for hours. gp

I was just checking in on ya, buddy. It sounds like you're OK. Laughing and crying are part of the dream, just like living and dying are part of the dream. The funny thing is, no one is doing it. It's doing " you " . Like Toombaru said, you aint dreamin' it; it's dreamin' " you " . fuzzie
