Can you bring yourself to admit to yourself that " it is as it is " as Ramana says? CAn you at least " SEE " and UNDERSTAND that however things are, that that's the way they are? Unless you can take that obvious step, there is truly no hope for you. al: <<It's like there is a little me made up of past > experiences trying to cope with the future. There's only one you. How could there be, even academically, speculatively, or theoretically, more than one you? The various fragmented mes that run around and do all kinds of shit in your dreams. Can any of those fragments do anything under their own steam? Can any of them act independently? Can they " decide " to reach Oneness? Can any of those fragments surrender to Oneness, or Twoness, or Multiness? Can you not see that your life is a dream? The you you conceive yourself to be cannot either shit or get off the pot or surrender or trust because the fragmented self you take yourself to be is EXACTLY like the fragmented characters that appear in dreamtime. What are you holding on to? It's just a concept, is it not? Gary

LOL. Lewis and AL are " just " thoughts/feelings in your mind. If there is only one me, how about the world and me? Oneness means seeing the I and the world are truly one. I can't see that yet, but I have a strong feeling that Oneness is what everything is and that this Oneness can be realized. Then there is only a " me " as and aspect whithin the whole. Total harmony. Supreme peace. I hope. > > > <<I > > feel the insanity of it all as I write this. My ego is cloning > > itself into fragments and thus the conflict increases! Yes, I have been " feeling " with my heart lately. This maybe sounds silly, but feeling totality from the heart is a good meditation I think. > > > AL: > > < The > > fragmented " me " will never by itself reach Oneness, it cannot even > > surrender to Oneness.>> > > The " fragmented 'me' " will never reach anything, nor will > the " fragmented 'me' " ever do anything, simply b/c there is NO > fragmented me, except as a concept in " your " AWARENESS. > > The various fragmented mes that run around and do all kinds of shit > in your dreams. When this seemingly separate and fragmented past is allowed to predict the future I am nowhere near limitless being. al.
