You have just separated a concept into aspects of doing and being saying they are not the same, as in different, as in separate? That's a non-dual no no! An the dualism begins? The author doesn't know what the heck it is much less it's teachings - hence here we are. The teachings of gurudev are all made up of ideas which is why seeking this enlightenment is a futile chase. You are only seeking to achieve made up concepts and ideas of what some one says is the way or the precept. Are we having fun yet? All is empty void and from that pours all else so if you enjoy seeking to define the difference between doing and being then go for it. I'm with Gene Potatoes (sorry Gene, I know it's childish but whenever I read the last name Polotos my mind instantly thinks of potatoes) when Gene says it's just the now. People mix themselves up when they insist there is only now while simultaneously saying there is a downstream (implying that there would be an upstream from which the downstream arose) which separates time into something other than now. And the insanity abounds as the sense of separation and confusion begins as we play our tune in the zombee jamboree. Speaking of head zombees.... Where's Toombaru? I just popped in to catch up. I've twisted my illusory knee so I wandered on the board. Oh dear, so much irrelevant nonsense to read and catch up on. Where to begin, where to begin. And to read on this board that Jesus was an Indian wanna-be must have Judi scrambling. Stay tuned to see how she reconciles her fear of all things India with all things Jesus. hmmmmmm..... highlights at 5:
