Guest guest
The belief that knowledge is divine, and thoughts come already formed from spiritual planes is very old, and very popular. It has seduced many great minds, including Plato's. But think of it, if a divine source for spiritual ideas existed, all religions would be the same, and the menagerie of gods humans have worshiped would have never been. And Phoenicians and Aztecs priest would have never believed human sacrifices were pleasing to their gods. When the brain establishes, or opens up to its spiritual connection, a surge of spirituality energizes the mind. Images, sounds, spiritual ideas are stimulated, and these are projected as coming from above, when in reality they come from cultural conditioning and the subconscious. This tragic mistake has costed millions of lives, as mad prophets demanded human sacrifices, crusades and holy wars throughout history. To think otherwise, is to ignore the evidence which a most cursory study of the history of religion presents. Pete
