Guest guest
the way that the individual notion within consciousness waxes and wanes when given attention, becoming this and that, is what i am referring to. whatever i am has no implicit need of a reply, be i god or dog. it seems that maharaj purposely did not give details about his experiences in consciousness during the 3 years after meeting his guru,- perhaps as a way of not burdening others with a pre-conceived notion about what it is to realize. he says nothing about a need to relate these experiences to others. this present attempt only seeks earnestness. even maharaj speaks of his personal life as a person. (though obviously not from a personal standpoint). earnestness seeking earnestness is all. i suppose that whether i be sincere or deceitful here, it all amounts to the same. with so much feeling that i have for the writings of maharaj, i find little or nothing that has meaning to me in " nisarga disscussions " . would my anticipation of a barrrage of corrections, incoherent ramblings with odd punctuations, and quotes of sages, be consistant with present moment awareness? lol. i whole-heartedly could care less for a challenge of ego. i am only looking for something that has meaning to me. and am only pressing to see if it is here. Guest guest
Sounds like you are actually very seriouse about your investigation into the non dual.Perhaps you should investigate the Spiritual humanism group in .This site here has been turning into a who can outdo the next in poetry(like thats what is going to help the human condition) so as to let everyone know that they have got it,or a continued repetition from the older sages who are still only parrotting from the past.Almost reminds me of the bible thumpers telling there stories over and over again to keep themselves convinced of there supposed truths.Anyway I think you might like the dialog on this other site.Doug................. Guest guest
many thanks. earnestness doesn`t come from an individualized notion of myself. it all comes from what is not the individual. it calls over and over. these are just what might be seen as attempts to answer it. funny. IT calls and IT answers. maharaj says to look for a feeling of more peacefulness inside as a sign that you are following the guru as he speaks to you and draws you closer. i see no need to visit nisargadatta again. - In Nisargadatta , " chefboy2160 " <chefboy2160> wrote: > Sounds like you are actually very seriouse about your investigation > into the non dual.Perhaps you should investigate the Spiritual > humanism group in .This site here has been turning into a who > can outdo the next in poetry(like thats what is going to help the > human condition) so as to let everyone know that they have got it,or > a continued repetition from the older sages who are still only > parrotting from the past.Almost reminds me of the bible thumpers > telling there stories over and over again to keep themselves convinced > of there supposed truths.Anyway I think you might like the dialog on > this other site.Doug................. > > Nisargadatta , " ramanama06 " <ramanama06> > wrote: > > > > the way that the individual notion within consciousness waxes and > wanes when given > > attention, becoming this and that, is what i am referring to. > whatever i am has no implicit > > need of a reply, be i god or dog. it seems that maharaj purposely > did not give details about > > his experiences in consciousness during the 3 years after meeting > his guru,- perhaps as a > > way of not burdening others with a pre-conceived notion about what > it is to realize. he says > > nothing about a need to relate these experiences to others. this > present attempt only seeks > > earnestness. even maharaj speaks of his personal life as a person. > (though obviously not > > from a personal standpoint). earnestness seeking earnestness is > all. i suppose that whether i > > be sincere or deceitful here, it all amounts to the same. with so > much feeling that i have for > > the writings of maharaj, i find little or nothing that has meaning > to me in " nisarga > > disscussions " . would my anticipation of a barrrage of corrections, > incoherent ramblings with > > odd punctuations, and quotes of sages, be consistant with present > moment awareness? lol. i > > whole-heartedly could care less for a challenge of ego. i am only > looking for something that > > has meaning to me. and am only pressing to see if it is here.
