Guest guest
Namaste, The « free will » is maybe as free as our Karma related actions are " free " . ….which give more or less choice….depending the " amount " of Karma one mind is attached to. To whatever happen in life, some people call it " destiny " ….in a kind of way….that they don't care much about…..and so, let " destiny " lead the life. By the law of Karma it's possible to " understand " better this " destiny " ….and maybe by this knowledge it's possible that one try to get " better " or " positive " Karma….instead of leaving whole life to something " unknown " ….something mysterious. The effect of Karma can be instantly….means, the reaction of an action can be " seen " directly in the mind……..but Karma take maybe some more time to be " discovered " in the mind when there is no deep consciousness…..means no spiritual life. Some minds live closer to timeless consciousness than others………and so the emotions concerning the effect of good or bad Karma appear less often. The question of " free will " I believe is much related to Karma. How could one talk about " free will " when there are many attachments to the world and (own) mind……..and so, in " living " different characteristics than the real Being…..the Self….? Wherever there is a " will " …..it's time related, a construction of a working mind. Restless minds are often lost in the " will " or " free will " or " divine will " …..lost in making the difference between each…..or in mixing up all kind of " will " …..in search for peace and responsibility of " own " will. In a world limited by time and space mind(s)…..every forms are related……like all " forms " in a dream are also related during sleep. As long there is no " waking up " from this " life-dream " ……all actions from whoever and whatever are related to whoever and whatever……..no " free will " . The only " free will " one can develop after some time……is the will to get out of this prison of the mind and world….. …to enter in a Being…..where there is no will…….at all……….but endless peace. In this inner peace…..there is the consciousness of no more being the " doer " of an action….. And so there is nothing really on which Karma could be " connected " …..when the identification with BMI disappear….. This are few thoughts only about " free will " …..
