Guest guest
dear friend When God created the mind, He has given a quality to it called 'thinking'. 'To think' is the very nature of mind. We should not try or aspire for making it blank because it is impossible and is against its nature. When any thing natural is to be done, it does not require any resistance. Ex: water to flow from higher level to lower level. Instead of making it blank, let it be filled with thoughts of Lord. Here, worldly thoughts are being replaced with thoughts on Lord. Generally one's mind is oriented to the worldly matters mostly. i.e., it is filled with worldly thoughts only. Likewise intelligence is filled with worldly knowledge only. In the spiritual effort, we are making our mind to orient to Lord slowly. Sofar the mind is completely immersed in worldly matters, desires etc., it definitely requires lot of effort to orient it towards Lord. Now, if true divine is knowledge is learnt from Satguru, intelligence gets strengthened. With the Help of strengthened intelligence, it becomes relatively easy to orient mind to Lord. Intelligence acts like a guru (within yourself) and whenever mind is orienting towards worldly matters, it will try to concentrate it on God. Hence, divine knowledge is most important. This leads us to true devotion. That is why whenever Lord comes in human form like adisankara, Krishna, Jesus, Prophet they all preached Jnana or divine knowledge only. These preachings have to be followed to really get some spiritual benefit. Bhajans, meditation and spiritual discussions form a basic level of worship of Lord only. Next stage is try to identify a Satguru, learn the divine knowledge from Him and Serve Him to get His grace. Words/interpretations of human beings have no relevance in the spiritual effort. That is why the words of Lord only like Gita, Vedas, bible, and Khuran are only prevailing as Basis. At thy Lotus feet of Shri Datta Swami surya Era <n0ndual wrote: .. Mind is naturally pure, clear, radiant and complete in itself, even if we fall into delusion. The basic nature of being does not fall into delusion. What is it that is delusion?
