Guest guest
Each human being is the result of billions of years of evolution. The human brain and the body's biological make-up is virtually identical between people (there is a slight difference between the sexes). Social and cultural conditioning are somewhat different between people, but not THAT different. Therefore I suspect that how each human being thinks and feels has a common foundation that does not differ from one person to the next. The ego mind in each person may on the surface appear to be special, but it is only the topmost layer of programming that differs between people. This means that the ego mind is basically identical in each human being. This, in turn, would make it a small step for evolution to go from human beings having ego minds to human beings having a global mind, or THINKING TOGETHER as J. Krishnamurti talked about for many years.
Guest guest
Hi, restless producer of endless ideas, Why bother about the ego mind ? The global mind already exists. Just look at life, there are so many different life forms but only one life. Your ego is just your personal ticket to get entrance to a group, a family, a tribe, society. And now, what will you do with it ? Having a dozend of new ideas ? Guest guest
Anders, I am afraid your " examination " will just be another splish splash in your thought-pool. There is no end in sight with that ... And who will connect to the global mind ? At the moment thought is quiet then also your wish to do that is gone - what an insecure endeavour which is so much depending on the presence of thought - you constantly have to fear that thought could stop Werner Nisargadatta , " anders_lindman " <anders_lindman> wrote: > > Nisargadatta , " Werner Woehr " <wwoehr@p...> wrote: > > > > Hi, restless producer of endless ideas, > > > > Why bother about the ego mind ?
