Guest guest
Hi Gene, Several times now I have read from you about your " laughing Self " . Who has told you about a Self, was it Ramana ? And then a " laughing Self " . I have read about " Homo ridens " but not about the former. Do you eventually believe by laughing all day long sooner or later you will be the Self ? It is fun to imagine when you are gone and your body decayed that there is still your laughing Self chuckling at midnight - " ha ha ha " . Don't worry, be happy. Werner P: Beware of a laughing hangman! Pelotas is a bloodthirsty spiritualist like most of them are. Kill the ego, kill thoughts, kill sex, and desires of the flesh. None of those need die, and they will not. Tools can not be killed, they only need to be put down when not needed. Nothing wrong with duality either, it's just a perspective. Of course, taking just a view for reality is wrong view. Duality viewed from the right angle, is nonduality. Samsara is Nirvana, form is emptiness. We can't kill, or get read of a single thing, only view them right, and use them only when needed. Pete, which Pete we are talking about here...? The body that essentially came from the cell of a man and a woman! That itself came from water, air and minerals which itself came from Sun. And, Sun itself came from the Big Bang and so on . . . Are we talking about the body takes water, vegetables, food, air from this environment everyday and then drops some into the soil, sea, water and air every day... every minute. Are we talking about the cells that are forming, dividing, being born and dying everyday. ....... Are we talking about the memories that are being formed and erased as we speak? Memory that can also get completely lost in an accident or through some disease? Are we talking about the memories that Pete is writing down and others are reading as a result it is becoming part of their Memory as well as the archives? Are we talking about the memories that Pete himself might have got from Buddha, Jesus, Krishna after they were dead long time ago? ........ Are we talking about the beliefs and knowledge that must have changed thousand times and might be changing even know? The beliefs that might have changed in a significant way after learning that about 100% of the matter is empty? Are we talking about the beliefs/knowledge some of which came from Ramana, Niz that were before part of Vedanta. Are we talking about the beliefs/knowledge that Pete is now propagating via what he writes and talks? ........ If we look little carefully from every angle - the body, the memory, the knowledge it just looks like a continuous process! The process that can have No real beginning or end. And, 'Pete', 'ac' and 'x', 'y', 'z' themselves are just a mini-process within the Whole Process! The Process just passes through them... It comes as input in the form of matter, energy and information from the universe and then again come out to the Universe in the form of matter, energy and information! Kind of like a cell within the human body! Or, like a wave in the ocean which is just 'formed' by the movement of the ocean! It gets the water, salt and other ingredients from the ocean 'lives' for a short while and then the water, salt... is released back into the same Ocean Again! regards, ac. > > So let's talk about time, which is change because > if we understand those, we will understand eternity > and everything in between.
