Guest guest
Deep peace is same as Happiness. Deep peace is... Happiness. ...... You are planning the future... in which, you can live in Now! [Do you see the absurdity of it?] ...... If you can be at peace...Now - what you really need the enlightenment For? ...... If you can't be at peace Now - why? If you can't be at peace Now - how can you solve 'IT' in a Future... in 'any' Future? ..... How the hope for a 'future' enlightenment can really help you be at peace... Now? Is it really helping you achieve peace Now? .....or, is this 'hope', expectation, searching, seeking is just giving you more reasons for unease... un-peace? Good point! The problem, as I see it, is that there is the sense of lack that leads to feeling of desire, and this disallows peace to prevail. This sense cannot be ignored in favor of peace, and I believe it comes from our self imposed limitations on our own awareness. And so the irony is that the denial of Self leads to lack, leads to need, leads to discontent which obscures the self realization that would fulfill the need. One cannot choose peace in the presence of discontent, and so it is not done. Phil
