Lessons in fake advaita

[ivo Balbaert] -

Waw ..., this is awesome! Why didn't I think of this before?

[ivo Balbaert] Perhaps there is even inspiration here for a talented advaita

stand-up comedian, or a TV-series: 'the advaita street', or 'in the

advaita-family' or 'nondual adventures' (or perhaps they gave that allready

i don't know anymore). Don't forget to instruct your word-processor not to

capitalize the i's (as mine always does!).

And finally with the merciless Werner Woehr, we are getting somewhere.

Werner, I would like you as my pseudo-guru, please ;-)

Much appreciation for the high gem-quality is this discussion-group.

Greetings,

Ivo

You're right. There is a lot of disingenuous and superficial nonsense going

on in the world of spiritual seekers. Hmmm.....

But, maybe a handicap, i am not for free, Dollars (with upper case)

Good morning,

Very true. The world of thoughts in me is in me! When I think about

other people then it is really my own thought-world I am looking at.

This thought-world does of course have a correlation with " external "

people and events, yet it is more or less an internal map in me. What

I call having relationships with other people is in reality thoughts

having relationships with itself. Strange. :)

I guess by uncommon understanding you mean something that goes deeper

than ordinary thinking. J. Krishnamuri talked endlessly about THINKING

TOGETHER (almost shouting :), and true relationship. He also said that

when there is fear there cannot be love. I agree with you that all is

in love, even fear, but fear has to be transcended I believe. Fear is

a sort of love having got lost, or love PREVENTING itself from getting

lost. So we " only " have to look at fear and move in the other

direction. Through negating fear, the other is.

there are those who speak

in presences

there are those who speak

of absences

all is the presence and the

absence of Love

and those who would speak...

and in this way only nothing

Love is probably always present, but heavily obscured by the shell of

fear. One has to let that fear to point within oneself so that an

effortless fire of love begins to shine from within. Then one can stay

in that light and let it begin to dissolve the hardened shell of fear.

The fear is the shell of the ego seed and is needed as a protection

until love can be ignited within one's being. Then that love starts to

crack the shell apart.
