If we say there " is " nothing. Does not the " is " transform and absolute absence into a vague presence? I know these are difficult, koanlike questions, but worth looking into until we get a nonverbal ah ha! answer. Not really. 'Be' implies the possibility of 'nonbeing', and so is dualistic. There is only 'isness'. Phil P: Phil! You like playing with words? You like translating the words of others to your own lingo? Is it because you're unable to understand them in any other way, or because it makes you feel important? There is no such word as " isness, " not in English, Phil. Existence, is a noun. isness is a corruption of the verb form 'is' which perhaps makes you feel you know something, but that something is certainly not grammar or ontology for that matter.
