Guest guest
I am an earth sign, concealed in the constellation Virgo, I am by nature, a habit of seed and seedling, I am the cohabitation of death and destruction In its greening, in its embering, A twilight of stars, as they fall to earth, A vision of scarcity and plentitude, I love my earth, my garden, my hallowed grounds, I walk these distances between the spaces of my Heart, but I am more than this I am a Poet and Mother, I offer nothing in lieu of myself, For I am is all I have, My weeping cherry tree has golden leaves, The dogwoods are red, and my Chinese maple Is a burning bush, brandishing words I Must listen to, or else I would be as my tri-coloured Beech, these leaves do not change, they dry and Sometimes fall, sometimes displaced by the greening Of and in Springtime My children have cut the limbs of my larch-like bush that, Grew into a tree, with plumes of the softest pink flowers, For their own reasons, I shall miss these flowers, these Remind me of palm trees in bloom, Of an image broken in half I have carried my deep orange-red and Double flowered melon hibiscus in for the winter, Ohio winter-cold zones must be taken into consideration When planting seeds or trees Love and peace, Ana
