Guest guest
Did you know you carry two pounds of bacteria in your intestines? Not occasionally, but all the time. 200 different species of bacteria live in your ears, 500 inside your mouth. Your skin is a huge campground for billions of microscopic critters. So is there reason to feel not wanted or lonely? Why do you need a dog? I bet you think you are all human, probably totally human. Think again! Microbes live within yours cells. Bacteria, in fact, outnumber human cells 10 to 1. If this doesn't make you feel inhuman enough, think of this: only 2% of your DNA is exclusively human. 98% of your DNA is inherited from other species, including fish and worm DNA. Hey! I don't know about you, but that makes me feel diverse, like a jungle, an ecosystem, a Federal scenic park, you know, public, universal. What the heck! The more the merrier! That's what I say!
