The " state of being " is entirely subjective, and

as such depends on attention.

if people didn't react..

to their hand touching a red hot poker..

it would be a hell of lot MORE painful..

than not reacting at all.

that's why people want to be able to react.

everything reacts.

even plants react to the sun..

and bend towards it's presence.

it helps them in nourishment by photosynthesis..

rocks and pebbles react to gravity.

worms react to vibration.

what the hell kind of world would be without reaction?

no kind!

it could not have evolved.

i think your stretching the bounds of truth and reason.

you just want to have something to say.

no matter how ridiculous.

ah..

don't react.

it's likely to painful.

and who'd want that huh?

the screaming of anything.

reaction.

pain.

these are not " bad " .

they are necessary elements of all life.

reaction is the basis of everything.

if there were no reactions occurring..

the universe as we know it..

illusory or not..

would simply never have come to exist.

we wouldn't be posting on the non-existing internet.

To try to avoid pain and loss, and have pleasure and gain.

o shit!

pleasure and gain exist ONLY by virtue of pain and loss.

you cannot have the one without the other.

don't be ridiculous.

oh you can try and try and try and try..

and you can try to jump up to the moon too.

what all that trying amounts to is NOT doing or having.

why bullshit?
