Guest guest
>> What is meant by living in the world and by being free of it? As far as I can see... everybody including saints lives in the same world. ... Understanding it is very simple. No animal, plant, rock... 'lives' in the 'world'! Though you can see them inhabit the same planet that you reside on! ... Earth is a place... The 'world' is what resides inside head! FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click. Living in the world means... assuming a special personal identity amidst many changing floating thoughts and then relating to everything... via this special thought! It signifies lack of presence... Lack of present Awareness... Lack of clear perception... because all of that is focused and lost in the thoughts [the world] inside head! Guest guest
Not quite, Indeed the world is just in one's head, but everyone has his own persoal and subjective world. My world is different than your's. You are the world, but it is your's and not mine. Guest guest
[...] > > When that happens... you are lost in > the world! > This loss happens because of a single reason... Fear of Uncertainty... Fear of Unknowingness... Fear of... " not knowing " ! You become so afraid of " not knowing " that you constantly try to fragment everything into bits and pieces. Yet, after all the fragmentation, all conceptualization and all the accumulation of knowledge you still really know... Nothing... and, thus the fear remains! You know " about " the manifestations... You know how manifestations interact... Yet, you don't know... what they really Are! In spite of collecting various data about " things " ... you still don't know their real essence! You don't know their essence... because, the essence of all things is... Emptiness! and, Emptiness can not be known!
