Guest guest
Once 'powered on' a computer is never TRULY 'idle' again! When it is not doing anything that is actively assigned to it, it spends its execution cycles in what is called... 'idle cycle'! More time a computer spends in 'idle cycle'... more 'available', 'more ready' for any new task a computer is said to be. ... For human brain, many masters called this 'idle PRESENT cycle'... Meditation! Some called it... abiding in Self... Some abiding in Spaciousness... Some called it... Just Be... Other called it... effortlessness... [yet, it is Very different that remaining 'idle' and being taken over by the 'background' 'unconscious' program!] Others called it... Staying Alert, Staying Present! ... Whereas... when computer starts spending all its time in busy cycle... it is said to have become 'unavailable' and 'unresponsive'! In this state, the computer becomes incapable of even handing necessary functions and thus many times is forcefully powered down! ... In dysfunctional human computers too... such 'forced' 'power down' does happen... Some use alcohol, some drugs, some anti depressant, some sex... in some it becomes even more 'all consuming'.... and, they fall sick! It is recognized as an 'unhealthy' condition! ... Many masters have recognized it... Many masters have suggested remedies. Some called it... practicing Presence... Zen called it practice of... staying Alert... Osho called it... always meditating Ramana called it... developing strength of mind to abide as Self... Tolle called it... No matter what you do... keep some of your attention Within! Feel the Inner Body! ... Make your [brain] computer Always spend some Aware and Present time in 'idle cycles'... It is " good " for the computer... ...and, it is good for " you " ! ... and, it is good for those who are connected to... your 'computer'! ---- [and, " al those connected " directly or indirectly includes... everybody!] Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs.
