oh mother of Samuel, Hannah

 

Whose name is also anna

 

who prayed and cried

 

" mercy to me oh Lord

 

Give me a son,

 

The women are making a fool of me

 

they mock me and say i must be a sinner

 

oh give me a soul oh Lord

 

forgive me oh lord for all

 

i could have possibly done "

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And the lord heard

 

the cry of hannah,

 

her heart torn and

 

out of love she begged

 

 

 

 

And lord sent a son

 

but not just any son

 

but the great and

 

mighty Samuel, the king to come.

 

 

and Hannah gave up her son

 

when he was just young

 

and the lord spoke

 

to the son, Samuel

 

and called on his name.

 

 

The young Samuel heard.

 

but did not disern

 

for he was just young

 

but as a sent son

 

he soon learned and

 

knew his dear Lord

 

and life became fun

 

for the prophet and good son.
