Guest guest
Hi Arun, Sorry, I've had some website hosting and email problems recently. I changed the webhost and email programs for the Nisargadatta.net site. used to host the site and one day they told me they have no record of hosting my site ever, even though it's been there for years. Maybe it's another miracle? Anyway, things should be back to normal pretty soon. Never met Maharaj, and like yourself I came across his writings on the net. " I am That " book has been influential on so many people in the west...(except our friend Whitehorserides here..I think he hangs out here 'cause he likes the smell of the beedie smoke or something...hehehe). As for the lists associated Nisargadatta perhaps I can give you a more general site called wwww.nonduality.com and Jerry who runs the site has plenty of links to keep you busy for a while. As far as I know there are no physical places that can be called exclusively as Maharaj centers. Bodily born in a so-called Hindu Brahmin family. However the Sanskars happened repeatedly during childhood were that Hinduism is all hogwash and that the Western world is the real great world. My Father was an Atheist as well as a sceptic as far as Hinduism is concerned. In fact My father would not allow any Hinduism scrpture to enter the house as also never go to a temple. He used to repeatedly say that UK is the land of the discovery spirit and they have created a heaven on the earth in the form of United States of America. Mother was moderately mechanically religious. But perhaps because of the extreme views of father the pratices and inclinations were subdued. > > During 1980 I was having some worldly problem and suddenly having photographs of Bhagwan Nityananda.
