Quesioner: The last couple of days I've been watching my

mind...asking questions, analyzing, the thougths coming up...there's

really no difference than birds flying out the window, the same way

letting the thoughts fly out, and not get caught up...

Maharaj: all those thoughts are the conditions of the mind and so

long as the conditioning is there, it's the natural process of the

body/mind, the result of the existing conditioning.

Q. For Jnani, what exactly is the function of the mind?

M. Jnani is divorced, disidentified itself from the body mind and

the ideas come and go...that's the difference. Jnani does not

consider himself to be an (individual) entity.

............(long talk of repeated ideas... " you are the

consciousness " )

M. Having understood that you are the consciousness, what else is

there to understand? The simplicity is embarassing, isn't it?

i'm not to sure what he's driving at here but jnani is one who is

the search persues and persists.

and blindly.

besides keeps me sharp as a tack.
