Guest guest
Smooth like flowing pearls, Oh, How you have wrestled these words from my tongue, How you have taken my love and found a temple of myself I listen for Echoes in Ambrosian chants In Memoriam When saints rested like sleeping giants Glorious inside this deeper life of me, I feast upon visions Curled like infants inside Sequoias, For Meadows are made green with living things. Cricket chirps play hopscotch across time And Deserts dance to wind spirals, create dunes And camel or horse hooves fly in silver and gold Across sun, across moon, tantalizing Orchids, flowing like gratitude in bodies bleeding, Preaching to rainbows for gorillas of the mist, Before I was lost, How I willed oceans and joy to reclaim my fire, My perfect melody. With these two hands folded over my heart, Throbbing in Sanctus Benedictus, In Silent contemplation, For my love, My heart song, Ashen on my funeral pyre, Perhaps somewhere an elephant's memory.
