Guest guest
Do you think it is love or fear that kills? Don't answer right now Do what you must to think it through And feel if your answer stays In your mind or walks heavy on your soul. Love, then, will emerge when thought in relation to time is relaxed. The very source of thought as time is a state of discontent and of fear. I imagine that if I could relax into the present moment then there would be love, unconditional love that does not require effort. Is the present moment dead? No, it's alive! And when we relax into the now, we relax into life untouched by death. That, must, in my mind, be very close to love, creative, free and fulfilled. This may sound like fluffy New Age dravel, and so it is if not realized as our actual everyday experience. To be brave and let go of the future and discover that one's self can float effortlessly in the now, all the time! Or drown. So it is very scary to let go, and letting go must come as grace if it is to be genuine. Thinking about letting go is not real letting go. Full acceptance of what is, happening in the moment, can only come when there is no fear and thus no inner conflict. Using rational thinking, we can see that the intellect with all its content is a result of society/nature. There is no real " me " in thinking. So there should exist a theoretical possibility for the intellect to let go and embrace everything as it is, because it is ALREADY a result of the world unfolding. This means that fear may be a form of illusion/delusion created by the intellect when it separates itself from the rest of the world. al.
