> From the earthquake

> In Pakistan,

> Cold nights, snow,

 

> No shelter, no food,

> Children dying,

> Old people dying

> Everybody moving

> Close to death.

> Merry Christmas!!

> Jesus loves me,

> Yes I know,

> For the bible

> Tells me so.

> Merry Christmas!!

> In Iraq, the soldiers

> Celebrate Christmas.

> Hooray for the birth of

> The Prince of Peace.

> The rockets red glare,

> Bombs bursting in air,

> People dying everywhere,

> Paper ballots covered in blood,

> The water is bad,

> Not enough gasoline,

> Sewage in the streets.

> And no one is listening,

> All that pleading for mercy,

> And no mercy is given or shown.

> But the priests, ministers, guru’s and rabbi’s

> Won’t let go of their petty power,

> They claim to know the will of God.

> Their ignorance is like a deluge,

> A Tsunami of defensiveness,

> And denial,

> Year after year,

> Christmas after Christmas.

> Merry Christmas!!!

> Ho! Ho!, Ho!,

> God rest ye merry gentleman,

> As the people suffer and die,

> And you have no way

> To help

> Anybody.
