I suppose you are correct in a way.

I don't think it is a statement made by the mechanical intellect,

which is itself process, and life, and not mechanical.

But, remember please,

It is just a poem, just a poem, just a poem.

Don't take it too literally or seriously,

It's written for your delight and enjoyment,

Take it as that.

You're really pushing it al.

In poetry, light is like an elephant flying into a wave,

In poetry, darkness, is like a heart on fire with bright flames.

Physics is one thing, poetry is another.

Is that the only thing you can do with your brain? To pick apart a poem?

And, just because it is your own mind, is that an excuse?

What pray tell is real?

Take the sun from the sky and know darkness

Put it in your pants pocket,

Catch fire and light.

Pluck the moon from heaven,

Swallow

And see if you glow or silver in your

Spaces of emptiness

Let the stars fall into your open hands

And reflect the light of awareness in your eyes

Pass this carefully to your loved ones

Like wands of sparklers

Let the nightfall on raven wings as nighthawks

Owls and bats give meaning to flights

Begin the day with a kiss to someone you love

Before the last act of contrition on your earthly sojourn.

Oh Lord God Of My Being

You will never know who you truly are,

For I have never seen the ocean,,,,,

Or navigated my rivers.....

I must criticize you here, don't get angry with me, but when you say

" loved ones " , then that is a fragmentation, a state of conflict, of

non-peace. The " me " and " my loved ones " is an ego-trip. And that is

fine if you want to live in conflict, but you will never find peace

that way. If you can say " my loved ones " and yet have inner peace,

total inner peace, then what I have written here is mis-critique, but

I suspect if you really have inner peace, then there are no fixed

persons who are " loved ones " as objects. Life is a process, a dynamic

process, and the intellect wants every thing to be final, but that is

a very mechanical view of life. So " loved ones " may soud mushy and

lovely, but is really a statement made by the mechanical intellect.

Light is seen in relation to darkness. Darkness has the vibration of

zero. Light has the vibration above zero. :)

Yes, but one has to be a bit obstinate sometimes and play the role of

deconstructor (even if it only one's own mind that is being taken

apart). :)

I guess picking apart one's mind on the Internet is somewhat like

picking one's nose in public. I agree taking one word/phrase out of

context is a bit out of order.

So, God is actually an elephant flying into a wave?.......Who knew?!

Larry

Possibly, AL needs no excuse to put one foot in front of the other as we all

do. This universe is quite big enough for the beauty of Ana's words AND AL's

considered thoughts about those words.
