Troubadours come marching home

I plant myself in the garden of time

Where songs raise the dead

In the crucible of dirt and humus

I praise both the eastern and western meadowlark,

Well hidden from the hawk

In the grasslands, in the countryside

Of cattle and horse,

10000 years pass in these melodies,

Survive

Flowering in fields of daffodils

Humus?!? I hope you mean, " partially decomposed organic matter " and

not " a thick spread made from mashed chicpeas, tahini, lemon juice

and garlic. " Hehe. ;)

Well, since you give me this choice, I would rather plant myself in a

garden of mashed chicpeas, et al. :)

Cool, we'll clear out some of the daffodils and make a campfire and sizzle

up some steaks with a side of humus.

I wonder what songs Ana's gonna be playing for us. :)

Ha-ha! Good one, Phil! Ha-ha-ha!

Of course, if they wanted to, they could eat the cattle Ana mentions

in the grasslands or the horses in the countryside for that matter.

Hehe.

Phil,

Take a close look at the picture I posted in my profile. You'll see

me there posing as a zombie. Hehe.

Daffodils: Can't we eat those, too? We could make a salad!
