Just for the record, I did NOT write the above. You did. Be careful

how you arrange you posts.

Here's what I (silver-1069@h...) say:

One can interpret everyday events as an expression of the divine or

not. It appears to me that the former conceptual interpretation

seems the more difficult one to accept.

To ascribe divinity to the expressions of an Absolute Reality

compares to the flawed view of a dual universe. If Absolute Reality

expresses both love and evil in, through and/or AS humanity, then It

IS (pardon my reversion to Aristotelianism here) f**ked, indeed!

The insanity of humanity's injustices to humanity could just as well

betray the existence of an evil demon-like maniacal Lord, lording it

over the masses and sadistically controlling them.

Alice in Wonderland, for sure!

I'd like to know what curious George has to say about it. Hehe.

Well, lets add yet another view. If you were to fall asleep right now and

dream a terrible dream, in your fear, who would you blame for that? Once you

awaken, who would you blame for the dream?

As the cat might say, God is quite mad or He would not be here. But who is

there to call God mad?

I perceive injustice, cruelty and insanity in the world but did I

sentence an innocent man to twenty five years in prison? Did I skin

a cat alive and hang it from a tree? Did I inject myself with a

lethal dose of heroin? If, as you say, these express my divinity as

part of who I AM, then I should do the world a favour and shoot

myself.

Imagine if you will, a world of nothing but saints. Some of these are

perfect saints, some not so perfect. We watch the acts of these not so perfect

saints on the nightly news and we shake our heads and wring our hands and cry to

the heavens, " Oh God, how can such unspeakable acts continue? How can such

evil be a part of what you are? "

Inevitably, you round up the worst of the not so perfect saints as they spit

on the sidewalk and step out into traffic before the light changes, and you

put them in prison for the good of society.........And you shake your head and

wring your hands.

" Dualities are funny things. Are you my relative? " asks the mad hatter.

One sunny day, curious George wanders into an asylum for the

certifiably insane and meets a woman who introduces herself to him

as 'Kitty.'

Rubbing up to the curious little monkey, she purrs, " God is quite

mad, or He would not be here. "

George looks at all the people around him and wonders, " Which one?

They all look pretty happy to me. Can I play pretend, too? "

Yes, that seems right. Egos relate to each other on a dualistic

level. Egos behave like they alwas have: bi-polarily. Eliminate

egohood and this Big Illusion will simply vanish. What will remain?

I draw a complete blank on this point. And I think the blank will

remain.

Who the hell Am I?

Yeah, and of course that question leads to the inevitable question, 'Who am

I not?', and the duality creation continues.

Perception is a human thang. The mind actually creates perception by

defining, which is a continuous process of comparison of one thing against

another.

In this way, all dualities are creations of mind only. You're right,

eliminate the process of comparison and identification, and the illusion

vanishes

because it was never more than a mind created perception to begin with.

Creative

consciousness creates what it perceives. Creation and perception are the

same. If perception ceases, the illusion is seen for what it is; nothing more

than our thought about it. How many of us are willing to notice this?

Since our entire illusion is based on thought, it's impossible to imagine a

Reality in which there are no thoughts, and yet this is the only Reality

there is. One only needs thought to perceive a universe. No thought is required

to know one IS the universe.

Maybe there's only three degrees of separation between Donald Duck and the

universe.
