But no one created it, and no one endures it. It just happened, it still just happens. Evil is a limited point of view created by the fact that pain and suffering are felt, and that we are both programmed to die, and to fear death. Bummer, dude! Was the Marquis De Sade the creator of this mess. Not really! Death was a way to expedite evolution via reproduction and mutations at a time when self consciousness didn't exist. Pain was a way to protect life long enough to reproduce at a time when intelligence wasn't available. No one designed these schemes, there were others as well, but death and pain worked best. Now that intelligence has given us the key to the human gnome, biology engineering, and artificial intelligence, it won't be long till we get rid of pain and death. A self conscious machine won't have any notion of evil since it won't suffer, or feel pain, or die because its memories and programming could be uploaded to a new machine. Just a thought. But no one created it, and no one endures it. It just happened, it still just happens. ***** " Silver " : Niz taught that the world arises along with consciousness. " Consciousness arising, the world arises. " he said. ('I Am That'; p.254) All takes place AS consciousness. I find it interesting that he said, " When you consider the wisdom and the beauty of the world, you call it God. " (p.254) My Roman Catholic background induces me to attribute the ignorance and ugliness I see in the world to God's antithesis. I divide the world into two: Good and Evil and their respective Overlords. While I see the silliness of this perspective, I can't seem to shake it. Hence, my ceaseless and senseless questioning. When someone makes the remark that I am everything happening in the world - either Good or Evil - and then finishes by concluding that the world does not really exist, my mind does a flip-flop. Lol. And yet, I can understand what it means and consent to it! Strange. Very strange. Yet, if we accept the idea that nobody can do anything without the cooperation of the entire Universe, it would mean that we all - alive today or not - share responsibility for the world's state and fate.
