L.E: This kind of visulization which you insist on calling thinking is not

volitional. You cannot do it on prupose. It is orgaic and intrinsic and just

occurs. Your concern is without merit. In a way, this is the real basic

thinking beyond words and will occur as needed. If you are open and quiet before

and after this happens don't worry, those open times are the infinite life is

peering through and that's the real you. Just enjoy it as long as it is.

I have tried thinking without language

many times... but, have never succeeded!

 

 

And, not only vocal sounds and spoken

words... I consider all 'symbols',

'pictures', 'mental pictures'... part

of the language!

 

 

In fact, this is how [from the symbol,

pictures, 'mental pictures'] languages

have evolved. However, their origin in

symbols is more evident in their

written form than in their vocal forms

and a language like Chinese is still

more 'symbolic' than others.

 

In fact, based on my understanding

[of language] dreams too happen only in

language... though, their language

often may not have vocal sounds or

spoken words!
