Some here, including yourself, may have been deluded into thinking they are the same and that such an experience places them in a position of knowing something that others do not. An experience of bliss or divine love or whatever flavor it may be, presupposes an experience and an experiencer. The experiencer is ego. The experience is an experience that ego is having. What has this to do with BEING love, joy or peace? Nothing at all. You must keep going. I've had such experiences, the difference being that I don't pretend this has anything to do with knowing myself to be these 'things'. If you knew yourself to be love, you would not feel the need to be arrogant. If you knew yourself to be peace, you would not feel the need for such meaningless drama. If you knew yourself to be joy, you would not find yourself enraged. Do you have any idea what I'm talking about? Are you listening to anything but your own voice? I'm glad for your experiences, Larry. Most of us who are not new to the spiritual path have shared your experiences and do not need to be taught them. Now, perhaps it's time to swallow the bitter pill of humility and keep going. There is ego to be dissolved into the nothingness that it is, and much work to be done in this regard.
