Wondering about the meaning of things, about what life is about, being mystified by life. I mean that in the context of *oneself*, not in the context of physics, say. As long as there is such wondering there is a sense of incompletelness. Such wondering dissolves when there is not a sense of an " existential self " in the face of a vast cosmos. > It is nothing something that you [or I] have > to do on purpose. > > It doesn't happen as 'pre' reading exercise, > it mostly happens after reading and it is mostly > like 'visiting' a 'similar' place again! > > Or like tasting a new 'unknown' wine and > instantly finding its taste somewhat similar > to... one you had in Italy! > That's fine. And I understand that. But I am saying that a sense of personality as something that is " mine " is not signficicant from my viewpoint. > I have no problem with... *mine*! > > *mine* too is... Do you also have a sense of yourself as an existential entity in the face of a vast cosmos? Do you have a sense of inner/outer? Do you have personal feelings that are *yours*? I am Not [Directly] Aware of any Vast Cosmos! I AM... and, I don't see it as... vast or small! It is the Only thing that I Am [Directly] Aware Of! Of course... I Exist! But... I don't think of I AM... as an 'entity'! An entity does exist... but, it is not really me! > > Do you have a sense of inner/outer? Not absolutely. It only makes sense with a context. In the context of a body... I can differentiate between what is happening to this body and what is not. At the deeper level... there is No feeling of Body and, thus there is neither inner nor outer. > > Do you have personal feelings that are *yours*? How could they be! If they were... Please let me know if I am. It is not my intention to sound like 'holier than thou' or like a 'smart-ass'!
