Guest guest
Phil: The point of this entire discussion is simple: if peace (or bliss, or oneness, or love) comes and goes, this is not the Truth of your being. The Truth does not come and go. L.E: Yes, the Truth or Absolute does not come and go. In most people, the ego state is all they know, for a few, the ego state comes and goes, and when it goes, such as in meditation, the Truth or Absolute is unveiled. A person can be aware of the truth and still be in a quasi-ego state, or a full ego state and still remember the Truth is here, just not expressed or visible. There is a spectrum of sense of self involved, it is not just black and white, either or. And, I disagree with you about the nature of the Absolute. It is manifesting the states of existence. I, you, and everything that exists is its expression. You seem to have a literary idea about truth rather than the actual experience. You say keep on going as if nobody has experienced all that is. As if you know more about it than anyone else. If you were totally in the state of the Absolute, there would be nothing for you to say or do, yet you are here participating fully in this group. Who is it that is at the keyboard? If you are in an ego state just to be typing, where is this Truth you keep talking about? It is with you, or just a memory? I am the Ahsolute in action, dream or not, and that's all I have to know. After that experience is just amusement, even pain and death. Larry Epston Allow me to announce yet one more time that I am the most ignorant individual on the planet. I know nothing. Listen to nothing that I say. I'm an escapee from an insane asylum. If you listen to me, you're more insane than I am. I don't blabber for your benefit but for mine so your continual need to make me less than anything is meaningless to me and only has meaning for you. Is that clear enough? And I agree that the meaning is mine, And I wonder why adithya is bothering to relate to you at all. And vice versa. Larry
