Guest guest Posted January 19, 2006 Report Share Posted January 19, 2006 Consuming all the TV dramas, Celebrity gossips, advertisements, political Scandals, Sports Scores, News of Crime and Violence, Personal Fights, Stock Market ups and down, real estate ups and downs, sport team's fortune, Advertisements, Reality Dramas... via TV, Internet, magazines, newspapers, phone, and friends and then, expecting mind to... be 'free from thoughts'... to 'not think, 'not dream'... is like... Consuming all the junk food available from anywhere and then expecting stomach to be 'free' and not work to 'digest' it! .... Dietician since ages has recommended consuming only as much as necessary... consume only that which is nutritious, good and easily 'digestible'... consume only that which is non toxic and no-reactive and one that is not too heavy or gas producing! Some even recommended 'fasting' from time to time... to clean up all the 'toxins'! .... Those who are vigilant and conscious to what and how much they eat are often able to keep their stomach relatively free and Sane! Those who apply vigilance and Intelligence to *how much* and what *thoughts* they intake can keep their minds relatively... free and sane!
