Guest guest
We read about Oneness and the pervasive Self, the Brahman, so if there is Oneness, a unity of Life, where is there room or a space for ignorance? Do you think the ego is outside of this Oneness? Isn't it obvious that this Oneness incluldes everything including you and your questions? I guess from where you are, separateness is what you experience and you insist that it is a reality or an illusion you are stuck inside of. Then you disagree with Oneness which is the most common vision of the great spiritual teachers. Who is it, in essense, that is holding the view of separation, someone outside of Oneness, outside of the Infinite Life? Perhaps this is the nature of the ego, to feel outside of Truth, outside of Life, outside of Oneness and when you as the indivual ego die to the physical, you will again be embraced by the spritual, the Oneness. So most people live in the illusion of separatness, only to be returned to the One after death. So be it, so it is. No problem. Only a few experience this Oneness in this ordinary life, as an exception, an anomally, a unique event and most everyone else stays in the life of the ordinary, the conventional, the limited. So it is as it is. Larry p.s. You don't have an ego, you are an ego. You don't have a self, you are a self. You don't live in illusion, you are the illusion. Wake Up! Guest guest
If you were with Jesus and Buddha, what would you say or do? Just as you do now. Same doubts, same questions, same smart-alex remarks, same arrogance, same skepticism, same self-centered egotism, same ego. Jesus and Buddha can not transform you, You have to be willing to look within and see the truth of your own being as they did. Were those who heard and saw them transformed? Maybe a few were, most probably were not. A match lights up a room it does not set the room on fire. The one who sees truth is the only one benefiting, the rest continue to live in ignorance, for the most part. Look at history. Larry

Real friendship among adults is only possible when there are no such needs anymore. Greetings Stefan
