Guest guest
I will go out on a limb again today, though it is cold bleak and dreary, I will refrain from any birdsong to sing as a bleeding heart poet. ;-) I am by choice, here. My choice is to offer a viewpoint in the conserving initiation, promoting and promulgating ;-) unity, for its own sake. In these so-called spiritual arenas, how can we offer an ideal to the masses when our shoes are dirty as we walk over one another's minds and hearts? Dharma battle is one thing, lack of compassion and unknown, unresolved spiritual ego is another. Since I belong to several lists, there is an appearance of simultaneous parallel conversations quite often most incredibly deceiving at first glance. The spaciousness in this art of subtle consciousness speaks relevantly to/and/as all those with speaking and listening parts. However, with the intent to formulate a clearer vision, I ask the following: To all list owners and moderators: How do you and what exactly is your balance as your right to refuse, moderate and threaten to ban and subsequently ban those who offer another point of view? Are your needs so narrow that anyone who veers from your exact boxed-conception of what you want posted is thus refrained? I know the nature of lists, topics considered and outlined in the group page. Rarely has someone been so far-off topic, that a ban would/should be declared, Imho. I also understand that abusive language and behaviour should be nipped in the bud, so to speak, with an admonishment at first. Civility breeds kindness. Kindness breeds compassionate interaction. I wrote the following on another list: " Let us not get into 'what we have is a failure to communicate', paraphrased from the immortal lines in Cool Hand Luke. The content of communication is quite unimportant; what is of consequence is the ACT of communication/communing. An authentic trial and error of INTENT, to meet one another on the common level of our humanity, which is the spoken Word, filtered thru the mind, a direct communication HEART to HEART, in this only LOVE speaks, at first a whisper, soon a clear and loving presence of Being. Whenever we shut off an earnest seeker (and please don't buy into being 'finished') by banning should s/he fail to adhere to one's 'roadmap', real friendship is denied and the result is a closed heart on both sides. I also am cognizant that for me to write these words, I have in essence, taken a side, but I must in order to clarify my intent. We are of no service to the 'world' unless we are perfectly clear as to our judgments and how they add to the suffering of those with whom we barely missed a real honest-to-God's walk with one another. " Do what you must but never throw anyone out of your heart " , paraphrased from Neem Karoli Baba. Banning for any other reason except willful abuse is exactly that, In my honest opinion. Thank you for your consideration in this matter and your kind replies. Back to your Regularly scheduled programming. Over and out, Ana-programming. Peace and Love, Ana P.S.
