Guest guest
If the problem is in the starting point then all deductions are dead-ends. In a sense a " starting point " is a location (a " starting point " that is subjective/psychological/ phenomenological) And a " starting point " is already separation. When there is compulsive absorption in working from some starting point, absorption in the process of working down the paths that follow, there is very little -- and usually none -- consciousness/awareness of the starting point itself. One may say the starting point is *presumed*. So in the context of such compulsion all the more unlikely to realize that no start point is needed, and that *any* starting point is pathology.
