Guest guest
Hello to you all here, you enlightened weirdos This is my first post, so please do not flame me for saying silly things. Many questions I had, were answered to me through my intuition or whatever you may call it, so I won't waste your time with boring questions. I would call myself something like a natural magician. Many magical things happened to me, although back then I knew nothing about magick. It was perhaps ten years ago, when I realized that everything that exists is made of consciousness. It was ten years ago, when I realized that the cosmos and everything in it is mental. It was ten years ago, when I realized that I'm somehow trapped inside a bubble of consciousness. Now, ten years later, I'm still trapped inside that silly bubble. Somehow I feel the whole universe is laughing about me. I mean, this situation is really silly. I know that in the province of the mind, what one believes to be true is true or becomes true, within certain limits to be found experientially and experimentally. These limits are further beliefs to be transcended. In the mind, there are no limits. I know that I am the Supreme Self. This knowledge is not information-knowledge, it is direct experience, awareness, consciousness, insight, whatever. And yet, I'm still trapped inside that silly bubble. I really need some help. At first I did some research with books and on google, but this is a never ending story. But then I said wait, human beings are like computer terminals of the cosmic divinity. Portals to the infinite hyperspace-noosphere. Why not access the cosmic mind through those terminals? Now that's why I am here. Now my question is this. I know what I know, for I am aware of what I am aware of. I mean, it exists for me, because it exists as awareness. Awareness being aware of itself so to say. You are aware of what you are aware of, for what you are aware of exists as a part of your field of consciousness. And you are aware of that field of consciousness. Now my question is this: Why am I not aware of everything that is aware of itself? I may also put this differently: Why am I only aware of what I am aware of, and not what you and everybody else is aware of at the same time? I know, this question may sound somewhat weird, but this is serious, assuming the cosmos is not just one big joke. As I have said, I'm coming to the realization, that there must be some cosmic joke I'm involved in. On certain levels I may have acquired a certain maturity, but then I feel like a real idiot. In case that something inspiring comes to your mind while reading this post, please do post, for I'm grateful for any inspiration, even the smallest one. Guest guest
Well the first thing you need to do is to get out of this group, seek out some mature " healthy " adults, don't waste your time here, most these folks have severe personal emotional problems, merely looking for attention for themselves, they belong on a psychiatrists couch. I assure you Nisargadatta would be turning in his grave if he could see the " sickness " being paraded around here in the name of Understanding. You are welcome to check out my group if you are seriously interested in actual Understanding. Guest guest
I liked the title : trapped in a bubble of Consciousness.. I often feel that way, trapped in a very small illusion that I call myself. feeling helpless, knowing that I am not going to pull myself out because I am trapped. Then, opening up, longing, streching toward true intelligence. Something always answers to pure despair. And I would call that pure alchemy, Because it isn`t concepts or lithanie that I get. It is substance and it is pure. I can transform that into concepts and more questions, or I may just breathe it, take it in, and keep opening up. Guest guest
Do check out whatever you want. But I'll give you a heads up. Don't be fooled by people who say " they have the way - and there way is better and others just don't have it. " Lots of cults out there like that and they can leave you turned upside down and inside out - not that that's necessarily a bad thing. I'm just sayin'. The ranch has just as many weirdo's as Judi believes this place has. They tend to believe in many " unhealthy adult things " and their stuff is okay with each other as is any group or organization who bonds together in a pack because they all believe the same thing, so they can't see it. A little I AM would work wonders on the ranch, but then again, there fun would die. There is no *right* way. There's just lots of different ones, Judi's included, as much as she preaches otherwise. Be aware of that or not. The conceptual person is naturally separated and cannot be otherwise. The supreme knows of no person. Better forget the supreme and concentrate on " I am " ... Well, if I understood you correctly, you already take into consideration that the cosmos might be one big joke. If it is, then what is your problem? Is it not better to go through life loughing at a joke than to srcatch ones head over endless logical problems? You think this makes you look like an idiot... Guest guest
Well I guess the sickness nowadays seems to be universal. Humanity seems to be caught up in some kind of collective madness. Actually there are three states of mind: 1: insane 2: normal 3: healthy As far is I am concerned I would call myself unsane. But then in a world having gone insane it may be a really bad sign being called normal. I may look into your group. Thanks for your reply. The answer to your question is too obvious and simple for your deeply searching mind. See, I am not trying to devalue the beauty of you, the human beeing, the flower, the sincereness of your inner world, your struggle, your quest. But if you want to get out of the trap of your beliefs you have to allow your beliefs to be questioned. Bigwaaba has andwered your question, but you still cant see it because you take the " supreme selve " for something that can be measured with the tools of the mind. >The Supreme is destined to give meaning. This is your big error. Only beliefs need meaning, it is their daily food. This what " is " : is... no meaning required. >>Did not you bring the " supreme self " onto the table here? ;-))) > >Nisargadatta did. Then if this is important for you, try to understand what he wanted to express with this term. There is plenty material to read, lol! Guest guest
Hello, Omikron. Good to meet you here, in cyberspace. Interesting conversation you have going on with...yourself. I know, I know. You thought you were having a conversation with others here. Ha-ha. Funny. There is only you, you see? You are not aware of what others perceive through their senses because there are no others. We are all part of your imagination. Nothing more and nothing less. You made it all up. LOL. Funny, eh? Don't worry. You'll get used to talking to yourself. And if you believe it's insane to answer back, you'll be really lonely. So you better get rid of that belief. Omikron, would you write a poem about how you have heard the theoretical sound of a square-wave? Good thing for how deeply the stars affect me or else I'd be a complete ignoramus and not just an ignoramus. " Silver "
