Guest guest
Desire and fear are what keep us all bounded to life, Thinking that we are dreamers, This or That, etc, other than illusory and programmable Objects Without desire and fear, We are all non-living, the source of all living. Neither accept or deny the source which brings us all into existence. Know that dream characters can end or prolong his or her own boundage with the help of the owner, the mind By understandin the nature of the body-mind, Which is learned and adapted...through senses As pure Consciousness, which gives the source to All physical and mental activities Why associate oneself, to the body or the mind stuff? The body and mind stuff (nervous systems), Will eventually take care of themselves, They all know what to do with themselves, Reacting and responding to senses arisen, Which are phenomenon, all illusions Which shall end sooner or later, upon the withdrawal of one's Consciousness... So withdraw one's Consciousness, Away from feeding the body-mind organism, By properly monitoring the breath, the source of all mental And of course, physical activities...(Life force!) Finally, the mind shall surrender, having nowhere to hide or run away, Upon the withdrawal of one's breath...! ~no-me~ Pete S <pedsie4 wrote: S: It surely matters what the mind does, because what it does leads >to a happy or unhappy life. A already thought a few times that this might be your philosophy. But alas, dear Pete, it simply does not work this way. The desire for a happy life leads only to more suffering. You cannnot get only just one side of the coin. P: My poor laboratory rat, you still don't understand this maze you are trapped in. It's not about desires. It's all about right or wrong steps, and consequences. Thoughts, ideas, beliefs, and actions have consequences. Take one step in one direction, and you get cheese; take a step the other way, you get a shock. The maze has no exit! So There is only two possible solutions: Die, or accept electricity or cheese with equal equanimity. )
