The Contempt Of Roses

I am above the contempt of roses for the noonday sun

When shadows are the shortest in the garden of my

Beloved, feel my clouds, my words, like satin pillows,

Soft and cool, lie down my Darling

And rest your weary soul

Perfumed and smiling,

In another lifetime

How we loved the truth of one another

With our silent minds

With our delicate souls

With our passionate bodies

In another time of time

Pleiades

Fell slivering, shivering into silver moonbeams

A delicious ripe and red strawberry grasped,

How we made Love, without end,

Without beginning

How I find you again

In my solitude, in my emptiness, please scatter my ashes

Let me look for you everywhere and find

Myself nowhere,

I want your breath in my raven hair,

I want to laugh even as I weep

In sublime ecstasy

In these words we have made flesh

Where I have found you,

Entwined, enjoined

In myself,

Here

We have touched

The fog over our skin,

In this one moment,

Knowing Love.

Love,

Ana
