Guest guest
P: well, Pete, that is an intersting post here. My amygdalas were removed when I was seven, I remember well because it was painful, Yet it seems that I can feel an intense emotion toward family, friends, pets , trees, boats.... Hmmmm! I wonder... P Is not the amygdalas in the throat, darling, is the big one in the brain. There are people whose amygdala has been damaged and they can't feel no emotion whatsoever. They describe their condition as horrible, like feeling dead. So don't let no doctor touch that one. )
Guest guest
Hmm Patricia, I just read a bit about the amygdala. I is divided in two parts and sits in the middle of the brain. When it is removed you no longer can feel fear and you no longer can recognize the fear of other people and also no their emotions. Therefore I cannot imagine that it was the amiydala you had removed as a child. It must have been something else, maybe the thyroid gland ? Guest guest
Yes!that`s it. When I got my almonds taken off, I was able to become a nut. Well, this has been most informative. What a team of researchers, quand-meme. Patricia --- Stefan <s.petersilge a écrit : Hi Folks, here in Greece " amygdala " is something to eat (=almonds). Yes!
